When do I pay when booking a DJ?
Once the booking is confirmed, the Event Organizer completes payment through the platform according to the agreed booking terms.
How is my payment handled?
LineupBridge uses Stripe to process payments. Your booking payment remains within the Stripe payment system pending release to the DJ after the performance is confirmed as completed.
What is Stripe, and what is a Stripe account?
Stripe is our payment processing provider. A Stripe account is used to process payments, maintain payment balances and manage payouts. It is separate from LineupBridge’s business bank account.
When is the payment released to the DJ?
Once the performance is confirmed as completed, the platform initiates release of the payment to the DJ after deducting the LineupBridge fee and any applicable VAT on that fee. The time taken to reach the DJ’s bank account depends on Stripe’s processing and the receiving bank.
Does LineupBridge receive the full booking payment in its bank account?
The full booking payment is not paid into LineupBridge’s business bank account. It is processed through Stripe pending payout. LineupBridge retains its platform fee, while the remaining amount is released to the DJ.
What is the LineupBridge fee?
The LineupBridge fee is 5% of the booking amount. The fee is shown in the payment breakdown.
Does LineupBridge charge VAT?
Where applicable, LineupBridge charges VAT on its platform fee, rather than on the full booking amount. Any VAT applicable to the DJ’s performance fee is separate.
